This was a typical compact Hong Kong style 2-bedroom apartment with bedrooms too small to be efficient. Therefore, we converted the space into a semi-studio with a master suite for the young couple. As both are big fans of Scandinavian style, we specifically designed the kitchen and bathroom with an industrial touch, matching the rustic wooden flooring for their cats to run around. Iconic Nordic furniture and decorative lightings from HAY, Carl Hansen & Son, Louis Poulsen, Gubi and Lampe Gras completed the look.
Since the space is filled with natural ambient light, we specially selected vibrant wall paint colors to create a fun and fresh atmosphere. So you can see, white is never the only choice for small apartments, right?
